Privacy Policy

Privacy in plain English

We collect and share only what is needed to run the current Agreemint site, receive Builder enquiries, provide scheduling, support users, and meet legal obligations. The current launch route does not take payment. Builder progress stays in your browser while you work. When you press the final submission button, the completed intake is sent to the Agreemint operator automatically.

1. What we collect

Depending on how you use Agreemint, we may handle:

  • Contact and purchase details, such as your email address, order reference, selected product, and messages you send us.
  • Builder answers, such as service category, scope, milestones, payment preferences, and acceptance criteria.
  • Scheduling details that you enter into the Cal.com scheduling experience, including the information needed to arrange a call.
  • Technical request data that is ordinarily generated when a website is delivered, such as browser, device, approximate location, IP address, and request logs.

When paid checkout is activated, payment card details will be entered into Paystack’s checkout. The current launch route does not collect card details or take payment. Agreemint does not receive or store your full card number.

Some information is required to respond to an enquiry or deliver a requested service. If you do not provide required information, we may be unable to respond, prepare the requested material, or arrange a call. Builder answers are provided voluntarily, but you should not enter confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal information.

We receive information directly from you, from your browser or device when you use the site, and from service providers when you use their linked or embedded experiences.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and protect the service, including to:

  • process purchases and provide the product or builder access you requested;
  • respond to support, privacy, refund, and custom-inquiry requests;
  • facilitate an optional review, discovery, or setup call;
  • secure the site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve the experience; and
  • keep accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and other legally required records.

We do not sell personal information or use builder answers for unrelated marketing. Completed questionnaire submissions are delivered to Agreemint’s business inbox so the Deal Memorandum can be reviewed and the agreement prepared.

We process personal information only where permitted by applicable law, including where it is needed to respond to your request or perform a requested service, where we have a legal obligation, where you have consented, or where a legitimate operational or security interest is not overridden by your rights. We do not use the Builder answers for direct marketing. We will not send unsolicited electronic marketing unless the required consent or other lawful permission exists, and every marketing message will identify the sender and provide a practical unsubscribe method.

3. Builder data stored in your browser

The Contract Builder uses your browser’s localStorage to keep a progress snapshot under the key contractBuilderProgress. This is intended to help you recover work if you reload or temporarily leave the builder.

That progress snapshot remains on the device and browser profile where it was created for up to 30 days, unless you clear it sooner, your browser removes it, or you use the browser’s site-data controls. Merely filling in the builder, visiting this page, or opening the thank-you page does not transmit the answers.

Pressing Submit Deal Memorandum & Book Review sends the completed intake to Agreemint through the site’s Vercel endpoint. A download is offered only if delivery fails, as a client-controlled recovery copy. Do not enter sensitive information that is unnecessary for preparing the agreement.

4. Service providers

Agreemint is hosted and operated with the following current providers. Each provider may process information under its own policy:

Paystack — planned payment processing

Paystack is planned for a later paid-checkout phase and is not active in the current launch route. If activated, it will process checkout transactions and payment-related risk or transaction information under its own policy and the payment disclosures shown at checkout.

Vercel — website hosting and delivery

Serves the site and processes the completed intake through the submission endpoint so it can be delivered to Agreemint. Vercel privacy policy.

SpaceMail — business email delivery

Receives the generated Deal Memorandum and source intake in Agreemint’s business mailbox. Spaceship privacy policy.

Cal.com — optional scheduling

Provides the embedded or linked calendar used to request a review, discovery, or setup conversation. Cal.com privacy policy.

These providers may process data in countries other than yours. Their own notices explain their international-transfer and retention practices.

5. Data protection, transfers, and children

Threshold 0 Pty Ltd acts as the responsible party for the personal information it decides to process. Paul Kruger is the Information Officer. Vercel, SpaceMail, Cal.com, Paystack if activated, and other providers may act as independent parties or operators for the services they provide. We require appropriate handling of information within the limits of the services we use and their published terms.

Information may be processed outside South Africa. Where required, we will use a lawful transfer basis and reasonable contractual, technical, or organisational safeguards. A provider’s own policy may describe additional countries, safeguards, and retention rules for information it processes directly.

The site and Builder are not directed at children. Do not submit a child’s information. If we learn that we received personal information about a child without the legally required authority or consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or obtain the required authority.

The current site does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. Browser localStorage used by the Builder is described above and is separate from cookies. Linked or embedded providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own notices.

If we become aware of a security compromise involving personal information, we will investigate, take reasonable containment measures, and notify the Information Regulator and affected data subjects where required by law.

6. Retention and security

Builder progress snapshots expire after 30 days. Submitted Deal Memoranda and source intake are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the requested review, support, dispute handling, and legal compliance. Support correspondence and unsuccessful enquiries are generally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required for a legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purpose. Records needed for those purposes are kept for the applicable statutory period.

Paystack, Vercel, SpaceMail, and Cal.com control retention for information they process directly under their own policies. We use HTTPS and reasonable access and security controls appropriate to the service. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and lawful retention requirements, you can ask us to confirm whether we hold your personal information, access it, correct it, delete it, explain how it is used, or object to or restrict certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

To remove builder progress yourself, clear site data or local storage for agreemint.dev in your browser. Clearing browser data may remove other saved site preferences too.

To make a privacy request, email paul@agreemint.dev. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law, or explain why more time or a lawful refusal applies. You may complain to the South African Information Regulator through inforegulator.org.za if you believe your rights have been infringed. Depending on where you live, POPIA, GDPR, or other local privacy rights may apply.

8. Responsible-party contact and changes

Agreemint is a trading name of Threshold 0 Pty Ltd, a South African registered entity. The registered address is 7 Bergh Rd, Stellenbosch, South Africa. The Information Officer is Paul Kruger, who can be contacted at paul@agreemint.dev.

We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
